Student Lunch Pricing

Meal Prices for the 2026–2027 School Year

  • High School & Junior High: $3.05 per lunch

  • Elementary & Primary: $2.80 per lunch

  • Reduced Price (All Schools): $0.40 per lunch

Lunch Charging Policy

Students may charge up to 15 days on their lunch account:

  • High School & Junior High: Up to $45.75

  • Elementary & Primary: Up to $42

  • Reduced-Price Meals: Up to $6

Please note: Only lunch meals may be charged to a student's account.

Free & Reduced Meals

Families are encouraged to apply for free or reduced-price meal benefits. Applications are available online with EZMealApp located on the district website (use button below) or paper copies can be provided upon request. The application must be completed every school year.

Nutrition Facts

Every month the Nutrition Facts for each campus meal will be posted. Keep in mind, it is an average of all the items that we offer. The Healthy, Hunger-Free Act bill took effect in the school year 2012-13. At this time Lytle ISD Child Nutrition serves fresh fruits and vegetables daily and, we are within the USDA guidelines in fats, sodium, sugar, and calories.

USDA National School Meal Programs

The Food and Nutrition Service administers several programs that provide healthy food to children including the National School Lunch ProgramSchool Breakfast ProgramChild and Adult Care Food ProgramSummer Food Service ProgramFresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, and Special Milk Program. Administered by state agencies, each of these programs helps fight hunger and obesity by reimbursing organizations such as schools, childcare centers, and after-school programs for providing healthy meals to children.

In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity. To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/ad-3027.pdf, Letter for Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals | Updated May 31, 2024 from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by: (1) mail: U.S. Department of Agriculture Office of the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights 1400 Independence Avenue, SW Washington, D.C. 20250-9410; or (2) fax: (833) 256-1665 or (202) 690-7442; or (3) email: Program.Intake@usda.gov.
