The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) at Lytle Junior High School welcomed 32 new members during a special induction ceremony on March 31.
During the ceremony, current members read the NJHS Pillars and lit candles to represent the pillars. In addition to outstanding academics, students in NJHS are dedicated to service, promoting leadership, developing character, and encouraging good citizenship.
As the new members were inducted into the organization, they received candles to light from the pillar candles. All of the new inductees then took the NJHS pledge promising to uphold principles and standards of the organization.
