The roof of our Head Start (Pre-K) and Child Nutrition building was damaged earlier this year in a windstorm, and it had lost 30% of it's shingles. William Cross, Lytle ISD Director of Operations and Maintenance had the roof covered in temporary tarps to prevent leaks and further damage. Because Beldon Roofing has done bond work for Lytle ISD in the past, Mr. Cross contacted Mr. Jacob Aguirre, Senior Vice President of Beldon Roofing to get a quote for repairs.
According to Mr. Aguirre, "While preparing the proposal for the re-roofing, our team was inspired by an idea: Why not give back to a local school district in the South Texas area? Lytle ISD has been a valued customer in previous years, and this project presented a perfect opportunity to show our appreciation. We partnered with ABC Supply Co. to donate the full re-roofing of the Head Start and Child Nutrition building, installing Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration Shingles in the Terra Cotta color. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lytle community and support its educational system."
Mr. Cross adds, "Mr. Aguirre and Beldon have always gone above and beyond for our district. Their work is impeccable and they are my first call for all our roofing needs. He makes sure our district is taken care of, and this time, he got the job done and saved our district $13-15,000 in expenses thanks to this generous donation to our school from Beldon Roofing and ABC Supply Co."
