Lytle ISD Welcomes Charity Salinas as New Human Resources Director

Lytle ISD is proud to announce Charity Salinas as our new Human Resources Director. With more than 15 years of experience in public education human resources, Charity brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and dedication to serving staff and students alike.

Charity earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources from the University of the Incarnate Word and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in management from East Texas A&M University. She is an active member of the Texas Association of School Personnel Administrators and the San Antonio Area Association of School Personnel Administrators, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and growth in the field.

Before joining Lytle ISD, Charity served as Assistant Director of Human Resources at Southside ISD, where she led critical HR functions such as staffing, employee relations, contract management, certification monitoring, job fair planning, and mentorship program coordination. Her previous roles also include Human Resources Coordinator and Benefits Specialist, where she managed employee benefits, facilitated recruitment efforts, oversaw FMLA and Workers Compensation, and supported staff through all phases of employment.

Charity also gained experience at Region 20 Education Service Center as a Human Resources Generalist, where she managed open enrollment, benefits education, and wellness initiatives. Earlier in her career, at Edgewood ISD she focused on employee relations and HR administration, where she handled grievances, policy training, and staff support.

Charity Salinas is known for her collaborative approach, her deep understanding of HR policies and compliance, and her passion for supporting educators and school staff. Her experience and dedication make her an exceptional addition to the Lytle ISD leadership team.
