On Friday, May 23, 2025, just before 7am, bus #44 was rear-ended near the Granberg subdivision with 16 students on board. Lytle Police Department and EMS responded and assessed all students and the driver and all are well. The driver of the vehicle that hit the bus is also ok. A fire truck was on scene to help with traffic while all waited for the replacement bus to arrive. We thank all our local first responders for being there so quickly to ensure our students were safe and stayed safe as the accident was cleared.
