We are in the midst of cold and flu season, and we want to remind everyone of some key health guidelines to help prevent the spread of illness. Please encourage your children to wash their hands frequently, especially after coughing, sneezing, or using the restroom.
If your child feels unwell, has a temperature over 100°F, is vomiting, or has diarrhea, please keep them at home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours. Children may return once they are fever-free for 24 hours without the help of fever-reducing medication (such as Tylenol or Motrin) or have not had any vomiting or diarrhea episodes for 24 hours without the aid of medication such as anti-diarrheals.
Attendance is important, any time a student is sent home by nursing staff, it counts as an excused absence. For any additional days missed, a parent's note or doctor's note is required to excuse them.
Your cooperation in following these guidelines is crucial in keeping all students and staff healthy. Thank you for your understanding and support!
