Seventh Grade Football

Thank you, Coach Bryan Bippert for not only sharing highlights of a great win, but also giving us insight into the character and values of the young men on your team. Your anecdote makes us even more filled with Pirate Pride!

Lytle 30, Bandera 12

It is such a scenic drive to Bandera, Texas.  There are so many beautiful things to see.  But the most impressive thing that I saw last night was at the Lytle Field House before we left for our game.  I witnessed 27 7th grade boys, 4 trainers and 2 coaches enter the field house, dress, load up the equipment and depart in 11 minutes.  For those of you who deal with Junior High boys, you know this is impressive.  I felt it was important to tell that story because it says a lot about this group of 7th graders.  They just really want to do things right.
