The Lytle Techno Pirates held on to their top league ranking after competing in their third robotics meet during the Christmas break.

The Junior High Robotics Team again led the field with an almost perfect series of matches, winning four and losing one match to the alliance of Kerrville and Uvalde by two points.

The Techno Pirates started the Meet without their primary driver, Isaiah Valdez. But team president Abril Perez stepped up and took over the driver position and snagged the team's new match record score of 105 points against San Antonio's Tech Syndicate and Somerset's SuperBro Bots.

The Techno Pirates will compete in the league championship on January 13, 2024, at Harmony Science Academy.
