On Thursday, November 2, 2023, the 7th grade football team ended the season in Crystal City. We could have used some of Popeye’s spinach. With a depleted roster, we fought and clawed our way throughout the game. The kids had a great year with a lot of learning during the season. We coaches learned more than they did. I am gonna miss this bunch of Pirates and are looking forward to them growing up to Friday nights.
