On October 23, 2023, the junior high volleyball team ended its season with a spectacular game that showcased the sheer dominance of our young athletes on the court, leaving spectators in awe.
The girls displayed exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination, making it a night to remember for everyone in attendance as they faced their last battle of the season against the Dilley Wolves. Across the board, the competition was fierce, but our girls rose to the occasion. Ultimately, everyone ended the season on a positive note! The 7A team finished the evening as District Co-Champs with the Hondo Lady Owls. It's a testament to their talent and unwavering commitment to excellence.
The energy in the gym was electric as these young athletes showcased their incredible talent and sportsmanship. The victory is a source of immense pride for the school, the team, and the entire community. It's a reminder that with dedication and teamwork, great achievements are possible.
We bid a heart-felt farewell to the 8th grade teams as they begin a new season of basketball or other sports and finish out their formative years at the junior high school level. We cannot wait to see what their next chapter holds in all avenues of their future endeavors.
