After a slow start, the Pirates Baseball Team exploded in the sixth inning and put the game out of reach when they took on the Dilley Wolves on March 24. Ethan Elizondo was the winning pitcher and went 2 for 2 at the plate. Travis Norton led all hitters going 2 for 4 with 3 RBI. Weston Jackson, Toby Davila and Mason Hill each had 2 hits.
Lytle baseball travels to Hondo on Friday, March 27, for a BIG game between the two undefeated district teams. Game time is 7 p.m. We would like to invite everyone and their neighbors to come and watch. It will be standing room only. Hope to see you there!
