Drama Club students at district competition

Lytle High School drama students are advancing to Bi-District Competition following their outstanding performance in the One-Act Play District Competition in Hondo on March 21.

Our students were fantastic on stage and backstage. I am extremely proud of their performance. Not only did they do their best performing, but were very supportive, friendly, and encouraging to all the other schools – something we strive for in the Drama Club!

Several of students received personal awards:

  • Outstanding Technician: Camila Vega

  • All Star Cast: Emma Emery and Brayden Morton

  • Best Performer (one of two of the whole day!): Hunter Inming

Schools/Plays advancing to Bi-District:

  • Lytle High School – “Lord of the Flies”

  • Hondo High School – “The Book of Everything”

  • Jourdanton High School - Whistle Stop”

Bi-District competition will be held at Hondo High School on March 27.
