Lytle High School Powerlifter Jaden Araujo will be competing at the THSPA 3A State Meet on March 25-26.
At the end of our Spring Break, Jaden, a senior, represented Lytle Powerlifting at the THSPA Region V Division 3 Meet in Kingsville on March 13. Competing in the highly competitive 114-pound weight class, Jaden finished sixth overall. Although he missed the podium by one spot, it was enough to punch his ticket to the state meet in Abilene. To qualify, a lifter needs to rank in the top two of his weight class or have a qualifying total. Jaden needed an 850-pound total to qualify, and he finished with 870 pounds!
This will be his second appearance at the THSPA 3A State Meet. Lytle Powerlifting is proud to see him represent our school and program once again in Abilene at the Taylor County Expo Center.
