The boys and girls golf teams participated in the Devine Warhorse tournament Jan. 26-28 during the recent South Texas freeze. Both teams tee’d off with temperatures in the 30s, however by 11 a.m. both days it was in the 60s and beautiful days for golf.
The girls team had two players, Sophia Herrera and Loundyn Perez, better their previous scores by at least 15 strokes. The boys team did well with three our golfers teeing off just 10 hours after winning a basketball game in Cotulla the previous evening.
