On November 8, 2025, the girls opened their season against Marion and lost 37-21. We shot 10.6% and were 7/34 from 2FG and 0/32 from 3-point land. We had good looks, but the shots were not focused. We were 7/15 from the free-throw line. Once we get some games under us and build some chemistry, this team will do some great things. They are competitive and do not like to lose, so they will bounce back. Our defense is going to be our highlight to watch. We had 12 steals and played aggressively. Once they get into better shape, our press will definitely help us when we come down to district play.
