Attention All 12th Grade Parents/Guardians!!!
As your child begins their senior year, one important step in preparing for life after high school is creating an FSA ID (Federal Student Aid ID). The FSA ID is a username and password that allows both you and your student to:
Access and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Sign the FAFSA electronically.
Review and manage federal student aid information.
Completing the FAFSA is essential for students seeking financial aid, scholarships, or grants for college or career training programs. Without an FSA ID, your student will not be able to complete this process.
We encourage you to create your FSA IDs as soon as possible so that you are ready when the FAFSA opens. I've attached a flyer for September 18th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lytle High School, where parents can receive help. Students will be creating their accounts through one of their classes on campus. This is a key step in ensuring that your child has access to the financial resources needed to pursue their future goals.
Visit https://studentaid.gov/ to create your account.
Thank you for supporting your student during this exciting year!
