This past Thursday, May 1, 2025, Diego Reyna traveled north to compete at the 2025 State Track Meet, and he did not disappoint. Representing Pirate Pride, Diego ran in the 3200m event and finished 7th out of a field of 9 competitors, completing the race in 9 minutes and 55 seconds.
He ran a smart, tactical race, typical of many at the State Meet, with a slower pace in the first half followed by a strong acceleration in the second. Diego held his own among the best, and we are incredibly proud of his performance and accomplishments this season.
We are excited to see what he will achieve in his senior year.
With Diego’s performance, the boys’ track and field season officially comes to a close. It has been a season to remember, one that elevated our program to new heights. We are already looking forward to making history next season.
