Great week for Lytle golf. We had 10 boys and 7 girls play in tournaments this week. Yesterday our “novice” golfers played in their first ever golf tournament at Oak Valley Par 3 golf course in Helotes. They all had a blast and got to see what it was like to play in competition. AND, our program had a tremendous surprise. WOW, WOW, WOW…. Jewel Settles, playing for only about 2 months and having been to a handful of practices won the girls division with an 82, winning by 3 strokes. Give her a shout out when you see her, she was the most surprised person at the medal ceremony. It was great to witness.
