Lytle High School College, Career, and Military Readiness Coordinator Catherine Hoffman and Career and Technical Education Director Jennifer Criswell teamed up with YES! Youth Empowerment Services and Alamo Workforce Solutions to host a dynamic college and career exploration event this past April to wrap up the 2023-2024 school year on a positive note.
The day kicked off with inspiring guest speakers who shared personal stories of their education and career journeys, igniting excitement and curiosity among students. In addition to the auditorium talks, Lytle Juniors and Seniors eagerly explored opportunities with representatives from 25+ organizations spanning retail, healthcare, law enforcement, software training, and human services. These local businesses and agencies were thrilled to connect with students whose talents and interests matched their hiring needs.
As you’ll see in the video, the room was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of confidence as our students engaged with potential future employers. The event showcased not only the possibilities awaiting our students but also their excitement and readiness for the paths ahead.
