What a night it was in Dilley, Texas last night, January 30, 2024, as many of us saw, Calyssa Sevier scored her 3,000 career-point and the season is not over! This girl will leave high school breaking every record here at Lytle High School! Channel 12 came out to Dilley to feature the game last night on the 10 o’clock news, and Katara Whitfield had a great clip on there too. David Hinojosa will run a special article on Calyssa and her accomplishments that will be online today, January 31, 2024, and come out in the actual paper tomorrow.
Nick Alvarado from Texas High School Girls Basketball (TXHSGBB) called Coach Wilson to report Calyssa now Ranks in the top 25 scoring leaders all time in the State of Texas after passing 3,000 which she did last night having 31.
Says Coach Wilson, “The funny thing about Calyssa is when you tell her all these amazing accomplishments, she is so humble, and I really don’t think she fully grasps how huge all these milestones are! She is one of a kind and we are all blessed to be able to share all these great memories with her.”
