The Lytle Golf Program, headed up by Coach Arnold Martinez for a total of 8 years, is now solidly established and growing! This year's golf season runs from October 17, 2023 through April 5, 2024 and so far, the program start is strong and hitting some cool milestones. The boys' team members include Daniel Herrera, Toby Stillions, Jordan Rodriguez, Domonick Ramirez, and Isaac Bojorquez who are making Lytle proud with their poise and character on the course at early-season tournaments. All members of this team are sophomores, and Coach Martinez is looking forward to their growth on the course and as a team.
This season, Lytle Girls Golf is represented for the first time in ten years! Rebekah Lytle is the last to participate in 2014. Coach Martinez is so glad to have girls back to compete. The team consisted of Cheyenne Martinez, Alli Martinez, and Julianna Center. Coach Martinez reports that the girls are having a great time. Making friends with their competitors and showing plenty of golf courtesy and respect on the course. The scores will improve over time, as he is seeing some great shots and putts from these Lady Golf Pirates.
Coach Martinez adds that if anyone has golf “stuff” not being used in storage, our players are always grateful for donated equipment. Enjoy these photos from a couple of recent tournaments: 2023-2024 Lytle High School Golf Photos Collection
