The wait is almost over! Lytle ISD students will return to classrooms for the 2026-2027 school year on Tuesday, Aug. 11, and we can't wait to welcome our Pirates back for another exciting year of learning.
Families are reminded that an additional 15 minutes has been added to the school day this year, resulting in slightly longer school days but fewer instructional days throughout the school year.
2026-2027 School Day Schedule
Lytle Primary School & Lytle Elementary School: 7:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Lytle Junior High School & Lytle High School: 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
For students at the junior high and high school, campus doors will now open at 7:45 a.m. for breakfast.
As we kick off a new school year, we encourage all families to make attendance a priority. Being at school every day and arriving on time helps students succeed academically while also ensuring the district receives the funding needed to provide valuable educational opportunities and resources.
