Thank you, LeeAnna Mask for 10 years of service on Lytle ISD Board of Trustees

At the Lytle ISD Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, December 16, all present celebrated and honored Mrs. LeeAnna Mask, who after ten remarkable years of service, more than 120 meetings, and countless hours of dedication to our students and community, resigned her longtime role as Board President.

Superintendent Dr. Dustin Breithaupt expressed, “Mrs. Mask has profoundly shaped Lytle ISD. She steps away from her role at this table, but not from our hearts.”

Dr. Breithaupt expanded on Mrs. Mask’s extraordinary contributions in guiding the district through challenging budget years, providing steady leadership during tough staffing conversations, and approaching tough issues with fairness and integrity. As an attorney, Mrs. Mask’s vast experience has been a safeguard, ensuring the district stayed in compliance, even in the most complex situations.

Dr. Breithaupt concluded saying, “Above all, Mrs. Mask has shown unwavering commitment to Lytle staff and students. Her decisions always reflected deep care for the well-being and success of the heart of Lytle ISD — our people.”

Before presiding over her last Board Meeting, Mrs. Mask shared, “It’s been an incredible privilege to be your board president. Serving in this role opened my eyes to the incredible amount of resources and effort it takes to run a school district, and all of the pieces beyond the classroom that have to be in place to ensure our kids get a great education. I have been blessed by all of the people I met throughout my tenure, and I will miss Lytle tremendously.”

Please help us in thanking Mrs. Mask for her years of service in our community and wish her well as she moves on to a new chapter.
