Today one of our emergency safety systems was inadvertently activated. We quickly determined is was a FALSE ALARM due to our new employees adding a safety app to their phones. The app automatically alerted local law enforcement, even though there was no emergency, and they arrived in our district to ensure all was well. Safety and security of our students is always our foremost concern, and our Emergency Response Teams were able to quickly assess the situation and take next steps to communicate to all who received the false alarm.
