The Lytle Junior High 7th Grade A and B Volleyball teams wrapped up an incredible season filled with hard work, determination, teamwork, and tremendous growth! Both teams showed dedication throughout the season, developing new skills, building confidence, and laying a strong foundation for an even more successful 8th grade year.
Our 7th Grade A Team finished their season with an exciting 3rd-place finish in the end-of-season district tournament! The girls played their hearts out, showing grit, determination, and teamwork in every match. They earned impressive victories over Crystal City twice and Hondo while battling hard against Devine and Carrizo Springs. Their effort, resilience, and competitive spirit were evident throughout the tournament. We couldn't be prouder of the way they represented Lytle!
Our 7th Grade B Team finished their season with a split in their final match and showed tremendous improvement from beginning to end. Throughout the season, we watched these athletes grow in confidence, develop consistency in their serving, and make plays they once thought were impossible. Their willingness to learn, work hard, and push themselves outside their comfort zones was truly rewarding to witness.
As coaches, we are extremely proud of everything these young ladies accomplished this season. While wins and tournament finishes are exciting, the greatest success was watching each athlete grow in skill, confidence, teamwork, and love for the game. These girls learned that hard work, perseverance, and believing in themselves can lead to great things.
We would also like to thank our parents, families, teachers, and Pirate fans for their continued support and encouragement throughout the season.
The future is bright for Lytle Lady Pirate Volleyball, and we cannot wait to see what these young athletes accomplish in 8th grade!
Go Pirates! 💛🖤🏐
