The heat was on and the battle was intense, but the Lady Pirates took a short break in their match against Devine to celebrate Lillian Evans’ 500th kill on Oct. 23.

What a battle! Your Lady Pirates left it all on the court in an intense, back-and-forth match that came down to the fifth and final set. The energy was high, the competition was fierce, and every point mattered as both teams fought to come out on top.

Both teams fought hard, and the girls showed heart, grit, and determination in a match that had everyone on the edge of their seats! In the end, it was a heartbreaking finish, with the match slipping just out of reach. While the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, this team showed tremendous fight and refused to back down. Games like these are tough, but they also show just how much heart and talent this squad has. We may not have gotten the outcome we wanted, but this team has plenty to be proud of!

They finished the season in third place. They will play a warmup game Oct. 27 vs Fox Tech at Alamo Convection Center in San Antonio.
