We're extremely proud of our Lytle Junior High Cross Country team! These young athletes have been working hard ALL SUMMER to prepare for this season, and their dedication is already showing!
Our runners competed against some tough competition at the Medina Valley Invitational Aug. 29, and we are so proud of the effort, determination, and sportsmanship they displayed.
Our 8th Grade Boys finished first as a team. What an incredible accomplishment! Out of 111 running, our boys finished individually in the following:

• Shawn Sanchez — 11th 13:15
• Daniel Reyes — 15th 13:21
• Max Cortinas — 21st 13:39
• Vance Schott — 26th 13:48
8th Grade Girls out of 122 runners:
• Monica Mercado — 67th, 19:31
• Karley Emerson — 93rd, 21:18
7th Grade Boys out of 80 runners:
• Christopher Ramirez — 17th, 14:25
• Jacob Ramos — 38th, 17:07
7th Grade Girls out of 109 runners
• Parker Leverton — 8th, 15:20
• Sadie Hernandez — 16th, 16:04
• Valentina Palacios — 31st, 17:10
• Mila Antu — 35th, 17:24
This is only the beginning! We can’t wait to watch these young runners continue to grow, develop, and push themselves throughout the season. Their hard work over the summer is paying off, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead!
