TIA designated teachers

As the school year comes to a close, Lytle ISD has many reasons to celebrate, including the outstanding work of our teachers.

This week, the district recognized 18 teachers who earned designations through the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program.

TIA was created to help Texas school districts identify, recognize, and reward top-performing teachers with financial incentives. Teachers may earn one of three designation levels: Recognized, Exemplary, or Master. Districts receive an annual state allotment for each eligible designated teacher they employ, with the goal of supporting teacher retention, especially at high-needs campuses.

While districts may use a portion of TIA funds to operate the program, Lytle ISD has chosen to direct 100% of the funds to designated teachers.

These designations are based on teacher performance during the 2024-2025 school year. Congratulations to Lytle ISD’s newest designated teachers:
