Lytle Band Percussion members

The Lytle Band program celebrated Percussion Night on May 12, showcasing the talent, hard work, and growth of Junior High and High School percussion students. Family members, friends, and supporters gathered to enjoy an evening of solo and ensemble performances featuring a variety of percussion techniques and musical styles.

Throughout the night, students demonstrated the skills they have developed during the school year, highlighting both their musical ability and dedication to the band program.

A special moment of the evening featured Lytle High School senior and Percussion Captain Taryn McDonald stepping onto the podium to direct a performance. McDonald plans to continue her musical journey next year by studying Music Education at Stephen F. Austin State University.

The event celebrated not only the students’ performances, but also the leadership, teamwork, and passion that make the Lytle Band program so successful.
