Devin Cordova and Ethan Elizondo combined for a no-hitter, as the Pirates took Game 1 of the Area Championship. Cordova threw 6 2/3 innings of no-hit baseball. Elizondo came in and got the final out.
Damien Barco singled in Lee Mills to give Lytle a 1-run lead in the fourth inning. Lytle scored 4 runs in the fifth on a single from Mason Hill, a double from Devin Cordova and a line out by Juan Patlan. The Pirates added runs in the sixth and seventh on RBI's from Piercen Moreno and Toby Davila.
Damien Barco was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI, Mason Hill was 2 for 4 with 1 RBI, Devin Cordova was 1 for 4 with 2 RBI's and Weston Jackson was 1 for 3 with a triple off the right field wall.
