Game 2 Recap
Lytle 7, Great Hearts 5
In a thrilling game, Lytle scored 3 runs in the sixth inning to overcome a 1-run deficit and capture the Bi-District Championship. After building a 4-run lead in the first 5 innings, Lytle baseball found itself in unfamiliar territory as Great Hearts rallied and scored 5 runs in the bottom of the fifth on 4 walks and 3 hits to grab the lead. The Pirates answered back immediately in the top of the sixth inning on a base hit by Devin Cordova scoring Travis Norton. Juan Patlan squeezed in Weston Jackson, and Toby Davila also scored on an error giving the Pirates a 7-5 lead.

Weston Jackson started the game on the mound for Lytle. He was relieved by Toby Davila in the fifth. Davila earned the win, striking out 6 in 2 2/3 innings. Juan Patlan and Piercen Moreno each had 2 hits. Patlan was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's.
