Members of Lytle High School’s (LHS) Career and Technical Education (CTE) Advisory Board received a special treat during their meeting on April 27. In addition to being recognized for their valuable contributions, advisory members had the opportunity to see firsthand how their support is making a difference for LHS students.
During the CTE Advisory Board meeting, students from CTE pathways created tabletop displays, presented examples of their work, and answered questions about what they have learned. They shared details about certifications they have earned and explained how their experiences in the program are preparing them for future careers.

Design and Multimedia Arts – Adobe Photoshop

LHS PTECH programs offer Associate's Degrees and Certifications in the following areas:

Computer Numerical Controller (CNC)
Culinary Arts
Cybersecurity
Education and Training
Electrical Trades
Welding
Students in these programs completed over 1,300 hours of hands-on work during the school year, gaining valuable experience that will help prepare them for college, certifications, and careers.
CTE advisory members play an important role in supporting LHS students by helping provide hands-on, real-world learning experiences across a variety of career fields. They also serve as guest speakers, sharing their expertise and industry knowledge with students in the classroom.
CTE Director Jennifer Criswell thanked the advisory partners for their continued participation and presented them with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their support.
