The Lytle High School Academics Team competed at the Regional meet in New Braunfels on April 25.
Senior Thomas Rubal earned Second Place in Social Studies, and he is advancing to the state meet in Austin on May 18. I am super proud of Thomas and all he has accomplished in Academics over the past four years. He has advanced to regionals four years in a row, and he is making his second trip to the state meet.
Mrs. McDonald took her Spelling team to regionals for the fourth year in a row also. The team included Senior Gabby Cortez, Sophomore Jazlyn Carrillo, and Sophomore Katherine Chuong. They all completed very hard with Jazlyn earning a sixth place medal. I am very proud of her and the rest of the team and how they represented Lytle.
