On April 8-9, the Lytle Boys Track and Field team traveled to Natalia for the 2026 District 28-3A Championships and delivered a dominant performance. Scoring in 15 of 17 events, the Pirates left their mark in a big way as back-to-back district champions.
Two school records fell — the 4x100m and 4x400m relays — records that had stood for over 18 years.
This group continues to raise the standard.
Thirteen Pirates are moving on to the Area Meet on April 16 in Jourdanton with their sights set on Regionals.
