Lytle got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Devin Cordova was hit by a pitch, Juan Patlan hit a sacrifice fly, and Damien Barco singled to left field, each scoring a run. A sacrifice fly by Mason Hill and a single by Cordova helped extend the lead in the second.
The Pirates scored 4 runs on 3 hits in the bottom of the fifth inning to put the Wolves away.
Devin Cordova earned the win for the pirates. He surrendered no hits and no runs in 3 innings of work. Cordova was relieved by Patrick Guillen in the fourth and Maddox Moreno in the fifth. Mason Hill drove in 4 runs on 2 hits to lead the Pirates past Cotulla. Hill hit a 3-run homerun over the left field wall in the second inning and singled in the third inning, scoring 1. Ethan Elizondo earned the win for the Pirates. He gave up 2 hits and 2 runs over 2 innings. Elizondo was relieved by Travis Norton in the third. Norton allowed 1 hit and struck out 3 in 2 innings. Juan Patlan pitched in the fifth and struck out 1.

He surrendered 1 hit and 0 runs over 3 innings, striking out 5 and walking 1. Cordova was relieved by Ethan Elizondo in the fourth.
