Dance team at State

Your Lytle Pirettes sailed to Texas State for the Showmakers of America Dance and Drill Team Championship on Feb. 28. These dedicated young women have spent countless hours throughout the school year perfecting their craft, all leading up to this final competition of the season. They performed two routines on the court at Strahan Arena and truly left it all on the floor. They returned to Lytle with awards for Double Division I (scoring 85+ points in two or more routines) and a third-place finish for their Pom routine!

To say we are proud of them is an understatement! Mr. Errian Morin and I have watched this team grow tremendously over the course of the year, and it fills us with joy to see them shine in their performances. Their hard work, determination, and heart were evident in every moment. We’d like to give a special thank you to all who have supported the Pirettes this season, from our dance parents to staff to administration and everyone in between. Your encouragement and support have played a vital role in their success, and we are so grateful.

I’d like to give an extra special thank you to my co-director, Errian Morin. Without him, the Pirettes would not have such a strong foundation of dancing, and we would be completely lost. His dedication and heart contribute to the growth of the team and program. The girls and I appreciate you so much! Thank you for all you do for us!

While this season is coming to a close, the Pirettes are already preparing for the next one. After a short break in the coming weeks, tryouts will be just around the corner, and they are ready to continue building on this year’s success.

Please join us in congratulating these ladies when you see them; it is well deserved!
