The Girls Powerlifting team brought home four medals from their second meet of the season held in Cotulla on Jan. 21.
Medalists are:
Senior Annika Robles earned third place in the 105 weight class with a total of 470 pounds.
Junior Julyana Frausto earned third place in the 123 weight class with a total of 585 pounds.
Sophomore Mia Diaz earned third place in the 198 weight class with a total of 815 pounds.
Senior Janelle Massiate earned third place in the 220 weight class with a total of 835 pounds.
This large, energetic meet was a great learning experience for all of our powerlifters. Everyone had a personal record in a lift and set higher totals for their next meet.
