Five members of the Lytle High School band traveled to Calallen to compete in the Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) Area Band Auditions on Jan. 10.
We are incredibly proud of all our students, not only with their hard work but also with the way they represented Lytle ISD. Area auditions are incredibly competitive, as every instrument has 20 or more students auditioning, with most sections only advancing one or two students to the All-State Band.
Here are the results from the competition:
Auslyn Beazer - French Horn - Seventh place
Nadia Daniels - Flute - Ninth place
Emma Emery - Alto Saxophone - Third place
Taryn McDonald - Percussion - Fourth place
Koby Lara - Trombone - Fifth place
Please help us congratulate these students on their hard work!
