On Saturday, Lytle Varsity baseball travelled to Burbank for a non-district game. Despite outhitting the Bulldogs, the Pirates could not overcome the 7-run 3rd innning from Burbank. In the 3rd inning, Lytle walked 9 batters and committed an error while surrendering 1 hit. Lytle came storming back in the 6th inning scoring 3 runs on 2 hits including a leadoff triple from Devin Cordova. Toby Davila was 1 for 3 at the plate with an RBI and some nice plays in the field. Juan Patlan had 2 RBIs.
