7th grade baseball

Yesterday, April 9th, the 7th grade Pirates hit the road to face off against the Jourdanton Indians in a hard-fought battle. Despite giving it their all, the boys came up just short in a 3-7 showdown.

Jourdanton came out swinging with a burst of back-to-back hits in the first inning to take an early lead. But the Pirates weren’t backing down! They answered with gritty at-bats, drawing walks and delivering clutch hits to put runs on the board. Jase and Jagger each knocked a hit to help spark the offense and keep the momentum going.

On defense, the Pirates turned up the intensity! Chase, Kason, Noah, Gustavo, and Zane came through with big-time plays behind the plate, locking things down and keeping the game within reach. The boys showed relentless hustle and heart from first pitch to final out!

Next up: the 7th grade boys will be battling it out at home in a tournament this Saturday, April 12th. Let’s pack the stands and show them some love!

Go Pirates!!
