Yesterday, April 9th, the Pirates traveled to Jourdanton for a match with the Indians. Thanks to a quick 3 outs our first at bat, followed up with some key errors, the Indians were able to climb to a 4-0 lead. The boys settled in and allowed only two runs for the remainder of the game. The bats began to come alive in the last two innings for the Pirates as they rallied and put up 4 of their own to close the gap! Unfortunately, our comeback attempt was cut short due to the time running out. These young men have proven time and time again this season to never count them out, as they have always found a way to compete and scrap their way back from any deficit they have faced! I am extremely proud of their efforts and the way they continue to battle!
Final: Jourdanton-6, Lytle-4.
They boys will have two games this Saturday(04/12/25) in our annual JH Tournament.
Game 1: 10:30 am
Game 2: 5:00 pm
