On Monday, September 8, PBK Architecture and Marksmen General Contractors rolled onto the Lytle Primary campus with a big surprise — double-decker wagons filled with playground equipment, yard toys, and games for our Littlest Pirates.
Before the school year began, these two companies broke ground on the Primary Classroom Expansion bond project, which will bring new parking, a relocated playground, a new gymnasium, and improved traffic flow to the campus. While working, crews noticed teachers guiding students across the street to play on the football field. Inspired to brighten that temporary play space, PBK and Marksmen decided to give students an extra reason to look forward to recess.
As the photos and video show, the donation brought joy to the children AND the adults who joined them in play. District and campus leaders extend heartfelt thanks to PBK and Marksmen for their generous gift — more than $2,000 in equipment that supports both fun and social development for our students.
