As the first light of day peeked over the horizon, the Lytle High School Class of 2026 gathered together for a beloved tradition — Senior Sunrise. With breakfast and caffeine in hand, blankets for tailgating, coming from football practice and cross country training, the Seniors met early Tuesday morning in the baseball parking lot to watch the sun rise on their final year as Pirates.
The annual event is a long-standing favorite at Lytle, giving seniors a quiet, meaningful moment to reflect on their journey so far and look ahead to the exciting year. With cute baby pictures and fun handmade signs, friends snapped photos, shared breakfast snacks, and laughed together as golden light painted the sky.
Senior Sunrise serves as both a celebration and a reminder — a symbolic start to a year that will be filled with milestones, memories, and the unshakable spirit of the Pirate family. For the Class of 2026, the morning was a beautiful first step toward an unforgettable senior year.
