Lytle ISD is proud to announce Dr. Dora Y. Garcia as our new high school counselor. With over two decades of experience in education, Dr. Garcia brings a wealth of knowledge in academic advising, crisis intervention, and college, career, and military readiness. Most recently serving students in Hondo ISD, she has also worked in various Texas and Florida school districts, supporting students from elementary through high school.
Dr. Garcia holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Capella University and is passionate about helping students and families navigate academic and personal growth. As a Lytle community member and spouse of a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, she brings a unique, global perspective and a heart for service. Her expertise in social-emotional learning, mental health support, and special education ensures she will be a valuable resource to our Pirate community.
