Lytle Outdoor Graduation is ON at the Stadium Tonight at 8pm!

With the latest round of overnight rain that continued well into this morning, everyone, including our Lytle ISD Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Dustin Breithaupt, was stressed about what would become of our graduation at the stadium planned for this evening. Says Dr. Breithaupt, "After walking the soggy football field early this morning and seeing the stands and student seating soaking wet, I was so afraid we were going to have to move tonight's graduation ceremony indoors.  But the rain stopped and because we have the BEST staff in the business, our coaches and maintenance staff came to the field armed with towels to dry off all of the seating for our special event." District operation employees used blowers to help move water off of the stands, but those planning to attend the ceremony tonight, might still want to bring a hand towel or two as the humidity is likely to be a factor. Adds Dr. Breithaupt, "I know Pirates do whatever it takes to support our students and this community. Today was no exception."  Join us for a night to remember for our 122 graduates. If you can't make it out to the stadium, watch the livestream:
