Good Afternoon, Pirate Nation,

Your Lytle Pirates competed in the 3A Area 27-28 Championships held in Seguin on Wednesday, April 9, and they did not disappoint!

Building on the momentum of their District Championship title, the Varsity Boys delivered an outstanding performance, finishing Area Runner-Up—the highest team placement at the Area meet in the past 20 years. They finished 2nd out of 14 schools and advanced the most athletes to Regionals in two decades. This is a major milestone for the program.

Up next, the Pirates will compete at the 3A Region IV Track and Field Championships, hosted at Matador Stadium at Seguin High School. The team is now focused on one goal: qualifying for the 2025 State Meet.
