Tuesday, March 18, 2025 the Pirates travelled to Natalia for their second softball game in district. Unfortunately, errors and missed assignments lead to the Mustangs defeating the Pirates 5-11.
Leading the Pirates at the plate was Giselle Esparza with a Sac Fly and a triple. She ended the night with a run and 2 RBIs.
On Friday, March 21, 2025, the Pirates hosted the Cotulla Cowgirls and despite a 7th inning comeback, the girls fell 4-5.
Addison Criado and Giselle Esparza were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected 2 hits. Criado also contributed 1 run and 1 RBI. Esparza finished with a 3 run homerun giving her 1 run and 3RBIs for the night.
