Thank you, Lytle Primary Counselor Martha Perez for sharing the details of this day of learning and community partnership at Lytle Primary.
I am happy to share that our Career Day at Lytle Primary School was a resounding success!
Our students had the invaluable opportunity to hear from several incredible presenters, ask insightful questions, and gain meaningful information about a variety of careers. Adding to the excitement, many students dressed up to represent the career of their choice, which brought an extra element of fun and inspiration to the event.
This special day would not have been possible without the dedication and cooperation of our wonderful presenters. They did a phenomenal job engaging our little Pirates and helping them understand the importance and impact of each profession represented.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the following participants for their time and effort:
Lytle Police Department – Officer Luis Diaz
City of Lytle Animal Care and Control – Director Daniel Garcia
San Antonio Fire Department – Jonathan and Gary Guevara
San Antonio K9 Unit – Officer Al Machado
Frio Regional Hospital – Cassandra Dubose and Megan Gonzales
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the incredible teamwork and dedication of our Lytle Primary staff. Planning and hosting a Career Day can be challenging, but thanks to their hard work and support, everything came together seamlessly. Their commitment to creating meaningful experiences for our students does not go unnoticed, and as always, I am very grateful for their support.
As we look ahead, we are excited to host more Career Days and continue building strong relationships within our community. Together, we are helping fulfill the district’s vision of ensuring every student successfully graduates from Lytle ISD with the skills and confidence to pursue higher education and a career they love.
Thank you,
Martha Perez, Lytle Primary School Counselor
