Lytle vs Natalia Coach's summary

Thank you, AD and Head Girls Basketball Coach Lori Wilson for keeping us in the loop with your great game summaries all season. We are proud of you and our girls team.

The girls played their last home game Friday night and we celebrated our Seniors. It was a great first half we were only down by 4. Then in the 3rd foul trouble hit us hard. We have played with 6-7 players all year with no one fouling out but Friday we had 3 starters foul out. Believe me I was not happy especially in a big game like this, but we had to fight through and keep our kids focused and not distracted. Natalia hit a few three pointers and they kept the lead heading into the 4th. We were happy the way the kids played and responded. Our Seniors showed great leadership and gave us all they had. We are so proud of all of these girls. We will travel to Jourdanton Tuesday and that will complete our 2024-2025 season. We recognized our three seniors before the game. They are such great kids and all of them have great parents. We know they will make Lytle so proud as they start their new chapter in their lives and we wish them the best!

Leading the team was Senior Arianna Garcia with 11 points 7 rebounds. In addition:

  • Valentina Ayala 6 points 4 rebounds

  • Lunna Reyes 6 points 16 rebounds

  • Mia Rollins 4 points 1 rebound

  • Aliana Cardenas 4 points 7 rebounds

  • Zabella Garza 3 points 2 rebounds

Congratulations to Senior Arianna Garcia she was named MVP for Lytle.
