The girls took a loss Friday, December 13 against Poteet 31-26. We shot 10/37 (27%) from the field and were 3/8 (37.5) from the free throw line. The girls could not get a good enough spark from their defense to gain the lead in the fourth quarter. They came out of the half with some fire and took the lead but just could not maintain it down the stretch.
Leading the team was Arianna Garcia with a double double 10 points and 13 rebounds
Valentina Ayala with a double double 9 points 10 rebounds
Aliana Cardenas 4 points 6 rebounds
Lunna Reyes 3 points 8 rebounds
The girls are now 5-10 for the season and 1-1 in district.
